At Antique Alliance, we operate as a curated marketplace serving serious collectors. Each acquisition is handled with discretion, care, and thoughtful coordination rather than automated checkout procedures. Our process reflects the nature of the works we represent — significant, individual, and often one-of-a-kind.


Purchasing & Payment

Antique Alliance does not utilize automated checkout systems. Once a collector expresses interest in a work, our team facilitates direct communication between buyer and seller to confirm details, provenance, condition, and final terms.

Payment arrangements are made directly between the parties. We remain available throughout the process to ensure clarity and a seamless transaction.


Shipping & Delivery

Given the unique nature of antique paintings, furniture, and decorative objects, shipping is arranged individually for each acquisition.

  • We are pleased to assist in coordinating professional fine art shippers, white-glove carriers, or international freight specialists.

  • All shipping, crating, insurance, customs duties, and related costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

  • Risk transfers in accordance with the terms agreed upon between buyer and seller.

  • We strongly recommend full transit insurance for all works.

Because many pieces require custom crating or conservation-appropriate handling, shipping timelines may vary.


International Shipments

For international acquisitions, buyers are responsible for:

  • Import/export compliance

  • Customs duties and taxes

  • Required cultural property documentation (where applicable)

We are happy to guide collectors through this process and recommend experienced specialists when needed.

Condition & Due Diligence

All works are presented with available condition information and supporting documentation. We encourage collectors to conduct independent due diligence, request additional images, condition reports, or third-party inspections prior to purchase.

Additional photography, virtual viewings, or in-person appointments may be arranged upon request.

Returns Policy

Due to the rarity and individual nature of the works offered, all sales are considered final unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to purchase.

We strongly encourage thoughtful review and direct consultation before completing a transaction. Our team is available to answer questions, provide further documentation, and ensure confidence prior to acquisition.

In the rare event of a material misrepresentation, matters will be addressed promptly and in good faith between the parties.
