About Antique Alliance

Antique Alliance is a community of collectors, select dealers, and admirers united by a shared belief: the past is not something to be stored away, but something to be lived with.

Antique Alliance was founded by Eric Litscher, an engineer, inventor, and longtime collector with more than 30 U.S. patents to his name. His professional career has centered on understanding how things are made, refining how they function, and collaborating with industrial designers to make products both useful and visually compelling. That experience has fostered a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, proportion, materials, and design—whether found in a newly developed product or an object created centuries ago.

Over years of collecting, researching, buying, selling, and building relationships within the antiques community, one idea became increasingly clear: the most valuable part of collecting is often not the transaction itself, but the knowledge, discovery, and relationships that surround it.

“That idea became the foundation of Antique Alliance”

An Alliance of Collectors

The name Antique Alliance is intentional.

Great collections are rarely built through transactions alone. They grow through relationships, shared knowledge, careful study, and trust.

Collectors learn from other collectors. Dealers introduce important objects to new collectors. Scholars refine attributions. Owners preserve provenance. Conversations often reveal histories and details that no catalog description can fully capture.

Antique Alliance was created to encourage that exchange—to bring together people who value exceptional objects, thoughtful scholarship, and responsible stewardship.

The goal is not simply to offer antiques.

It is to help exceptional objects move thoughtfully from one collection to another, while preserving the knowledge and history that make them worth collecting.

Whether you are building a collection, refining one, or considering the future of objects you own, we welcome your inquiries and conversation.
